Whether fresh air ventilation machine is energy-efficient mainly depends on the heat exchanger (in the fan), whose function is to keep the outdoor air as close to the indoor temperature as possible through heat exchange. The higher the heat exchange efficiency, the more energy-efficient it is.
However, it should be noted that heat exchange is divided into normal heat exchange (HRV) and enthalpy exchange (ERV). The normal heat exchange only exchanges temperature without adjusting humidity, while enthalpy exchange regulates both temperature and humidity. From a regional perspective, normal heat exchange is suitable for regions with dry climates, while enthalpy exchange is suitable for regions with humid climates.
2. Whether the installation is reasonable – this is the most overlooked detail that can most affect the user experience
Most users only focus on the quality of the fresh air products when choosing them, and pay less attention to installation and service, resulting in an unsatisfactory user experience. A good installation team will pay attention to the following four notes during installation:
(1) The rationality of pipeline design: Each room’s air outlet can feel comfortable fresh air, and the return air outlet can smoothly return air;
(2) The convenience of installation location: easy to maintain, easy to replace the filters;
(3) The coordination between appearance and decoration style: The air vent and controller should be tightly integrated with the ceiling, without too large gaps or paint peeling, and the appearance of the controller should be intact and undamaged;
(4) The scientific of outdoor protection: The parts of the pipeline leading to the outside need to be connected with pipe covers to prevent rainwater, dust, mosquitoes, etc. from entering the pipeline of the fresh air system and affecting air cleanliness.
